Open and Open Recent

Projects can be opened in several ways:

1. File Menu > Open - opens the file as a new tab in the current window (if Tabs are on) or in a new window (if tabs are off).
2. File Menu > OpenRecent - to select previously opened files, most recent at the top.
3. Click the Open or Open Recent buttons on the Welcome Window.
4. Click the button in the project window toolbar.
5. Click and hold the drop down menu next to the Open button in the project window toolbar and select Open or OpenRecent.

If Tabs are turned on in Actio Preferences then the project will be opened as a new tab within the current selected window.

Open Recent Menu

The Open Recent menu is available in the following locations:

1. File Menu > OpenRecent
2. Welcome Window - Open Recent button
3. Project toolbar - drop down menu.

Note the following:

1. The number of items in the Open Recent menu is determined by the General tab in Apple's System Preferences.
2. The Open Recent menu can be cleared by selecting Clear at the very bottom of the file list.
3. Where more than one file have the same name in the Open Recent menu,then the menu will also display the name of the folder in which it is contained.
4. Items are displayed in date order, with the most recently used file at the top of the list.
